THE FETCH • THE WEEKLY PUP CRUSH

Meet Rocky — a 5-month-old multigen Bernedoodle with one blue eye, one brown eye, and a very convincing case for getting exactly what he wants.

Follow Rocky

Welcome to The Weekly Pup Crush, where one very special pup gets the spotlight, the profile treatment, and a very important question for all the dogs out there:

Would your pup swipe right?

Rocky may still be a puppy, but the personality is already fully online: goofy, deeply affectionate, very committed to staying close to his people, and quietly running a household training program centered around one essential principle: never let the good treats run out.

First impression

The eyes get you. The personality keeps you.

Rocky’s one-blue-one-brown-eye situation makes a pretty unforgettable introduction. But spend a little time with him and the eye color quickly stops being the headline.

He is goofy, affectionate, and happiest close to his people — the kind of puppy who seems very interested in being part of whatever is happening, especially if it could potentially involve him.

Goofball credentials? Official.

Affection level? Very high.

Hooman training progress? Excellent.

House rules

The hoomans are highly trainable.

Rocky has been training his humans since day one, and the curriculum is surprisingly straightforward.

Freeze-dried liver should remain available. Bully sticks should appear at reasonable intervals. His Enno toy should stay within reach. And if the car is going somewhere, Rocky would very much like to be included.

So far, the system appears to be working remarkably well.

Rocky brings the charm. The hoomans bring the snacks, and the car keys.

Matchmaker’s notes

Rocky’s best match understands that puppy love comes with a little chaos.

Playful enough to appreciate his goofy side, affectionate enough to welcome the close-company policy, and secure enough not to be intimidated by that unfairly charming pair of mismatched eyes.

Bonus points for enjoying a good car ride, respecting Enno-toy custody, and remaining completely neutral in the ongoing dispute with Mirror Rocky.
